Magisterial inquiry has been started into the collision of loco wagon in the tunnel of hydro power project.
Samvad Sahayak, Jagran, Gopeshwar: A magisterial inquiry has been initiated into the collision between a loco wagon (a vehicle used for movement in the tunnel) in the tunnel of THDC's 444 MW Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project under construction.
Investigating officer Sub-Collector Chamoli Rajkumar Pandey said that if anyone wants to give any evidence or information regarding this incident, they can give it in writing or orally.
It is noteworthy that on December 30, around 08:30 pm, during shift change at the TBM site of the under-construction Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project (THDC) located at Pipalkoti, two loco wagons carrying laborers collided inside the tunnel. Many workers were injured.
On the orders of District Magistrate Chamoli, the magisterial investigation of the accident was handed over to Upazila Magistrate Chamoli and instructions were given to conduct a detailed review of all aspects of the incident.
The Sub-Collector said that in this regard, if any person has any facts, information or evidence available related to the said accident. Or if any person wants to submit his information then he can submit his information in written or oral form in the Upazila Magistrate office.
