Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. A case of fraud of Rs 30 lakh has come to light in Bhajanpura area on the pretext of getting the job of Postal Assistant in the Indian Postal Department. The victim alleges that a railway employee along with his family defrauded him.
On the complaint of victim Pramod Kumar, Bhajanpura police station has registered a case of fraud. Police are investigating the bank accounts to trace the accused. Pramod Kumar lives with his family in North Ghonda. A person named Vinod Kumar lives with his family in their neighbourhood.
Vinod is on the post of MTS in Railways. The victim alleges that Vinod's mother made the victim believe that her son would get a job in the postal department. The victim had to get jobs for his two sons. The victim took a loan from the bank and borrowed some money from his relatives.
Vinod was given Rs 15 lakh each to get a job. He claimed to get the job in two months. After taking the money, he took a fake test at the victim's house. After taking the money, the accused sent fake appointment letters to the victim through his mother through WhatsApp. When he did not get a job after two months in December, the victim lodged a case at Bhajanpura police station.
