Jagran correspondent Jagran. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the 'Sant Sammelan' organized at Saptarishi Ashram grounds in Haridwar (near Bharat Mata Temple, Sapt Sarovar Marg).
During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all you saints, mahatmas, religious leaders and devotees, living symbols of Sanatan consciousness, are making your invaluable contribution to the nation and culture by gathering in the Saptarishi area situated on the holy banks of Mother Ganga.
He said that the great men who dedicated their entire lives to nationalism, service, sacrifice and compassion were not just saints but divine saints associated with national consciousness.
The Chief Minister said that Brahmagiri Maharaj presented such a philosophy of life by linking spiritual knowledge with social service, which inspired countless people to follow the path of service and humanity.
He worked to preserve the Sanatan culture and traditions by establishing the Bharat Mata Temple, which even today remains a center of inspiration for the devotees. In the Kumbh Mela of 1998, he was made Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, after which till now more than 10 lakh Naga Sadhus have been given initiation.
The Chief Minister said that the installation of the statue of Brahmagiri Maharaj will become a medium of spiritual awakening for the new generation. The saint tradition is not limited to any one sect or sect but works to connect the entire world with the feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Sanatana Dharma is not man-made but is based on eternal principles, which endure with time and are never defeated.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has taken strict action against anti-conversion laws, strict anti-riot laws, and jihadi mentalities like Land Jihad, Love Jihad and Spit Jihad.
He said that by implementing Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, equal law has been established for all citizens. To secure the future of the youth, strict anti-copying law was implemented, as a result of which more than 28 thousand youth have got government jobs in a transparent manner.
A new era of cultural upliftment has started in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Works like construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Badrinath Dham Master Plan are important steps towards re-establishing India as a world leader.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the Bharat Mata Temple located on the banks of the Ganga in Haridwar is a symbol of the cultural consciousness of the country. He said that preparations are being made for the Kumbh Mela of 2027 and Maharaj ji's life was constantly inspired by good deeds and spiritual practice.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that unprecedented changes have taken place in India in the last few years and today India has become the fourth largest economy in the world.
He said that there has been rapid development of water, land and air routes and the youth power is taking the country towards a developed nation. Sant Samaj is working to strengthen Indian culture and unite the country.
Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that the company of saints is the solution to the sorrows of life. India is identified with Sanatan culture. The four monasteries established by Shankaracharya are symbols of the spiritual unity of the country. He said that God is one, His expression is through different faiths.

Vinay Shankar Pandey, Fair Officer Sonika, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Singh Doval and a large number of saints, public representatives and devotees were present.
