CM Yogi understands hydrogen power plant in Japan

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Japan, on Thursday visited the state-of-the-art hydrogen power plant located in Yamanashi province. During this, he closely observed the power-to-gas system operating there and obtained detailed information about its functioning from the experts.
The system converts electricity generated from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind into hydrogen. This hydrogen is used for fuel, energy storage and clean transportation. This reduces carbon emissions and helps in protecting the environment.
Effective model of clean energy and green development
Praising this initiative of Yamanashi, the Chief Minister said that green hydrogen can become an important basis of future energy. It is an effective model towards clean energy and green development. The Uttar Pradesh government is also taking concrete steps to promote green hydrogen, solar energy and other clean energy sources.
Industrial investment, research and new technologies are being encouraged in the state, so that Uttar Pradesh can become an energy self-reliant and environmentally responsible state. This visit of the Chief Minister is being considered an important step towards strengthening technical cooperation with Japan. This is expected to give new impetus to clean energy and green mobility projects in Uttar Pradesh.
