Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has implemented a new scheme with the aim of reducing the coal stock. Under this, cashback will be given with a discount of Rs 200 per ton on lifting 20 rakes of coal. The total cashback amount can be up to Rs 1.60 crore. There is pressure on the company from the Coal Ministry and Coal India to reduce the stock. The date of e-auction has been fixed on 26th February. BCCL has taken this initiative to attract consumers. About 3500 tonnes of coal is supplied in one rake. This offer will be applicable on coal lifting from 10 rakes to 20 or more rakes. BCCL management is continuously brainstorming to ensure quality based coal supply. Coking coal producing company BCCL will give cash discount to the consumers lifting coal by rail under the e-auction scheme. This discount will be given to the successful bidders till March 2026 under the prescribed conditions. Under a single cluster, buyers who book coal in a single auction and lift it from rail rack will get cash discount per tonne depending on the quantity of lifting. This exemption will be applicable on all grades of raw coking coal. The company believes that this will promote coal lifting by rail and will also provide relief to the consumers. Additionally, coal dispatch may also increase. At present BCCL has a stock of more than 6.57 million tonnes of coal, the management is serious about reducing it.

Sales department issued letter

All potential buyers purchasing coal from BCCL under Coal India E-Auction Scheme 2022 have been informed that this benefit will be given on coal successfully booked and lifted by rail route under the same cluster by any one bidder in the e-auctions to be held till March 26. This decision taken under the leadership of CMD Manoj Kumar will not only be helpful in reducing the company's stock, but will also be helpful in providing coal to the consumers at cheaper rates. Will happen. At present, there is pressure from Coal India and the Coal Ministry regarding stock clearance. This can prove to be a better opportunity for the businessmen associated with the coal sector to increase their inventory and reduce costs.
