State Bureau, New Delhi. The Congress Party has organized a 'Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod' rally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday (December 14) against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Party workers from different states have come to participate in this rally. It will be addressed by many senior Congress leaders including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Vadra will also participate in it. BJP has given its response regarding this matter. BJP said that Rahul Gandhi should not spread confusion on SIR.
Earlier, State Congress President Devendra Yadav said that irregularities are being done in the voter list due to the nexus of BJP and Election Commission. He clearly said that we have to unite against BJP. Yadav said that Delhi Congress workers will participate from every booth to make the "Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod" rally a success.
All concrete arrangements have been made for this rally and arrangements for morning breakfast along with water and tea have been made for the Congress workers coming from different states. He said that the State Congress has also made arrangements for food for the Congress workers who are reaching Delhi from other states. Yadav said that volunteers have also been appointed along with the Congress Seva Dal so that people do not face inconvenience.
Yadav said that to spread the publicity of this rally, BJP's vote theft has been exposed all over Delhi by putting up social media, hoardings, banners and posters in every Block Congress Committee area of Delhi. Yadav said that voice messages regarding the rally have also been sent to people's mobile phones all over Delhi.
