In the last few years, two-wheelers have become the first choice of newly married couples and tourists. Due to the weekend, more than 200 two-wheelers reached the North Portal of Atal Tunnel on Sunday. Earlier, tourists fond of off-road used to prefer traveling only on Manali-Leh and Manali-Kunjam Kaza route, but since few years, the craze for bike rent has increased in nearby tourist places including Manali and Rohtang. Tourists are enjoying the thrill-filled journey on the winding roads in the mountains of Manali. These days, bike rental has become the first choice of newlyweds and tourists.

To run this scheme successfully, Bikers Association Manali has been formed in Manali. More than 150 members are registered in this association. The aim of the association is to provide better facilities of bike on rent to the tourists.

All the members of the association are providing pickup and drop facilities to the tourists. The Bike on Rent scheme is making it easier to travel independently and comfortably to local tourist spots and the surrounding valleys by bike. For newly married couples, these bikes are the best way to experience adventure as well as spectacular views.

Vishal Sood, President of Bikers Association Manali, says that there are more than four thousand two-wheelers under the Bike on Rent Scheme in Manali. The number of scooters in this is more. The daily fare for a scooter is Rs 600 to Rs 800, while the fare for a motorcycle is Rs 1000 to Rs 1500. Pickup and drop facility is also being provided to the tourists. On the lines of Atithi Devo Bhava, all the members of the association are working together to provide the best facilities to the tourists.
