After this, the criminals promised to earn huge profits by giving the promise of investment. Caught in the trap of cyber criminals, Smita spent Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand several times. But still one lakh more rupees were asked from him. It was also said that you will get 50 percent profit on depositing the money.

Pressure was put on not depositing the money and it was also said that the principal amount would not be received. After coming to know of cyber fraud, the victim lodged a complaint on the cyber helpline number. After this a case was filed. Police is investigating.
