Samvad Sutra, Jagatpur (Rae Bareli). The body of a youth was found lying under suspicious circumstances in a deep pit filled with water on the roadside near Daulatpur village on Salon-Jagatpur road. There were serious injury marks on the face of the deceased and a bike was also found parked nearby. The young man had left home six days ago. The family members have alleged that the young man was murdered and the body was thrown away.
Genda Lal, a resident of Pura Gosai of Salon, told the police that his son Mohit had left home six days ago on a bike with two youths from the village and a youth from another village, but did not return. Even after a lot of searching, he could not be found. After which Mohit's missing complaint was registered in Salon police station. Late on Tuesday evening, information was received that a dead body of a youth was found near Daulatpur village. When the family members reached there on suspicion, they saw that the body was that of Mohit.
Family members say that Mohit has serious injury marks near his ears, nose, mouth and eyes. His bike is safe. According to the family members, if there had been a road accident, the bike would also have been damaged. The family members have accused the youth of murder.
On receiving the information, CO Dalmau Girjashankar Tripathi reached the spot with the police force. After this the body was brought to the police station. Police station incharge Pankaj Tyagi says that a case of missing person of the youth was registered in Salon police station. Salon police will conduct further investigation.
mourning spread in two villages
Deceased Mohit was married to Sapna, daughter of Angan, resident of Jingana village of the area, about three years ago. Both also have a son. As soon as the news of Mohit's demise reached his in-laws' house Jingana and his native village Gosai, there was mourning. At both the places, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
