Life disrupted due to dense fog in Gurugram.

Jagran correspondent, Gurugram. The effect of continuous dense fog on life is becoming visible in Gurugram. Dense fog covered most areas of the city on Friday morning, due to which visibility was recorded at less than 50 metres. In view of the situation, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of dense fog for the next three days. The fall in temperature along with fog has further increased the severity of cold.

Along with the night temperature, the day temperature has also dropped. The minimum temperature is being recorded around 7.0 degrees Celsius, while on Wednesday the maximum temperature of the day had fallen to 17.0 degrees Celsius, which has been the lowest temperature of this season so far. Due to this, the coldest day of the season was recorded on Wednesday.

Due to dense fog, drivers had to move on the roads with fog lights on. The speed of vehicles slowed down on Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Dwarka Expressway and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. In the morning, the number of vehicles on these routes was also less than normal.
