Theft of lakhs by breaking the lock of a locked house in Mango

Jagran correspondent, Jamshedpur. A sensational incident of theft in broad daylight has come to light in Khan Building in front of Vishwanath Temple located on Gurudwara Road under Mango police station area. Masked criminals broke the lock of the locked house of medical representative Akhileshwar Dubey and made away with jewelery and cash.

The incident took place around 7:30 in the morning, when the criminals entered the building disguised as laborers, committed the crime and fled away with ease.

The main door lock was broken and stolen.

According to the information received, Akhileshwar Dubey has gone to the village in connection with the preparations for his son's marriage. Taking advantage of this, the criminals first broke the lock of the main door and entered the house. Due to delay in breaking the lock of the inner room, the criminals broke the door itself.

After this, they collected all the jewelery and cash kept in the cupboard and boxes and left the spot. The amount of property lost due to theft can be assessed only after the homeowner returns.

Demand for immediate action

Local people informed former BJP leader Vikas Singh about the incident. Reaching the spot, he informed the local police station about the entire matter and demanded immediate action.

As soon as the information was received, the administrative team also reached the spot. Due to the vigilance of local youth and administrative cooperation, two suspected criminals have been caught, who are being interrogated.

Crime is increasing due to increase in drug addiction

Building owner Umakant Singh said that after seeing the movement of laborers in the morning, people thought that repair work was going on at Dubey ji's house. For this reason no one suspected theft. Later, the incident came to light when a person living in the neighborhood saw that the door of the house was broken and no one was present inside.

In this regard, Vikas Singh said that due to increase in drug addiction in the area, crime is continuously increasing and the situation is going out of control. He said that if the administration does not take strict action then the general public will be forced to take to the streets against crime.

At present, the police is busy investigating the entire case and after interrogating the arrested accused, other involved criminals are being searched.
