State Bureau, Jagran, Kolkata. ED Director Rahul Naveen on Friday sought information about the Bengal government officials and police officers who accompanied Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to two places during the ED raids and searches.

The raid was conducted earlier this month at the Salt Lake office of the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) and the house of its co-founder Prateek Jain in the coal smuggling case.

Let us tell you that during the ED raid, Mamta reached there along with senior officials and police officers and allegedly left from there with many files and electronic documents. Rahul Naveen is on a three-day visit to Kolkata from Thursday evening.

He held a long meeting with officials of the ED's Kolkata regional office on Friday to review investigations into several high-profile financial irregularity cases.

According to sources, in the review meeting, Naveen specifically questioned those officers as to what was the behavior and body language of the officers and police officers present with the Chief Minister during the raid and search. Also asked which files and electronic documents the Chief Minister's team allegedly took along.
