Melting continued to increase during the day due to cold winds. People shivered throughout the day due to cold. Wherever people saw bonfires at major intersections, they stood near them to protect themselves from the cold. On Friday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 19 degrees Celsius. There are chances of further increase in melting.
Meteorologist of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology says that melting has increased due to north-westerly winds, there will be cold effect due to the winds even during the day. The movement of clouds continued.
Due to this, temperature fluctuations will also continue. The onset of rain is quite low. There is a possibility of rain in the beginning of the new year. There will be a drop in temperature for three days. After that, due to the arrival of clouds, night temperatures will increase, but cold, fog, smog and pollution will remain intact.
