Electrical wires will be removed from 42 council schools.

Correspondent, Sandila. Now the impact of the campaign 'How Safe is the School' launched by Dainik Jagran is now visible on the ground. Basic Education Department: 11 thousand voltage and 440 bolt and 33 thousand KV line wires and transformers passing over or near 42 council schools will be removed.

The Basic Education Department has allocated a budget of Rs 29 lakh to Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam. By removing the lines, about five thousand children studying in schools will be freed from the fear of danger. After the completion of the tender process on behalf of the Corporation, the work has also been started. After the construction of some schools, electric poles and transformers were installed by Pawar Corporation. At the same time, classes in some schools operate under electric wires. The lives of the children studying in these schools are at stake.

Keeping in mind the safety of children, the process of removing the lines above schools is going on. For this, work has been started after on-site inspection by Junior Engineer, SDO and Executive Engineer.

Under the supervision of the Executive Engineer from all divisions like Sandila, Bharawan, Kasimpur, Kachhauna etc., electric wires will soon be removed from primary and upper primary schools.

Education department experts say that the survey work of schools was done many years ago, but due to excess budget, the work of removing the wires was stalled.

After mutual talks with the Corporation, the Children's Safety Corporation prepared a budget for line shifting in a low budget. Funds were made available by the Education Department in September. Line shifting work is going on in Beniganj and will start in other divisions soon.

The work of removing electric wires from 42 schools has been started. The department has received the budget from the government. Soon the wires will be removed from all the schools. -Diwakar Yadav, Sub Divisional Officer, Sandila.
