Intensive inspection of Varanasi Junction, Northern Railway by Shailendra Singh, Executive Director (Corporate Coordination), Railway Board.
Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. Shailendra Singh, Executive Director (Corporate Coordination), Railway Board, conducted a thorough inspection of Varanasi Junction, Northern Railway. During this, he gave special instructions regarding passenger facilities.
During this inspection, he made a thorough observation of the cleanliness and passenger facilities of IRCTC Executive Lounge located on Platform 1 of Varanasi Junction, One Station One Product Stall, IRCTC Food Track, Ticket House, New Foot Bridge and Second Entry Gate. Along with this, he also received information related to the ropeway model in Hall No. 4.
He also inspected CDO Coaching Complex, old washing line and rake of 14223/24 which came for maintenance in the washing line. During this, he gave necessary instructions for expanding and improving the quality of passenger facilities at Varanasi Junction.
At the time of inspection, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Yadav, Station Director Arpit Gupta, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Devesh Sharma, Divisional Mechanical Engineer Diwakar Varshney and other local officers and employees were present.
Giving priority to passenger facilities, he said that it is the responsibility of the Railways to provide the best services to the passengers. He stressed the need to take concrete steps to increase the level of cleanliness and facilities on the platform.
It is clear from this inspection that the Railway Administration is serious about the convenience and safety of passengers. Seeing the progress of the ongoing development works at Varanasi Junction, the officials were directed to complete all the works on time and pay special attention to the quality.
This inspection is an important step towards improving the railway facilities at Varanasi Junction. Keeping in mind the satisfaction and safety of passengers, the Railway Administration has resolved to make its operations more effective.
