Roadways buses parked in Mohan Nagar on GD Road. Awakening
Rahul Kumar, Sahibabad. In the city, the roadside vehicles including GT Road, NH-9 and internal roads have been encroached upon by making bases for the vehicles. From here, not only in Ghaziabad, but for different cities across the state, money is being reaped by operating daggar vehicles, despite knowing all those responsible, they remain ignorant.
Due to this, the roadways buses of the Transport Corporation are facing huge loss of revenue every day due to non-availability of passengers. Now the Transport Corporation team will monitor such places in the city for 48 hours and prepare a survey report and submit it to the Divisional Transport Department (RTO). After this, action will be taken by running a campaign to stop the plying of dangerous vehicles.
Transport Corporation team monitoring the errant vehicles in Lal Kuan. Hundred. corporation
About 895 buses of Transport Corporation are being operated in Ghaziabad region. Apart from this, about 200 contract buses are also operating. Due to the occupation of illegal vehicles in most of the areas in the city, the roadways buses of the Transport Corporation are able to get only 20 to 30 percent of the total passengers.
70 to 80 percent of the passengers are being carried by rickshaw vehicles. After being repeatedly reprimanded from the headquarters for increasing the revenue, the officials of the Transport Corporation had complained about this in the RTO. On this, the department has asked from the Transport Corporation for a list of such areas of the city from where rickshaw vehicles are being operated.
The Transport Corporation is monitoring such areas for 48 hours and preparing a survey report. In this, it is being seen how many passengers are being carried by which Daggamar vehicles daily. The survey of Lalkuan is almost completed. Its report will be prepared and sent to the RTO department soon. After this the remaining areas will be surveyed.
Most of the dangerous vehicles are being operated from here.
There are more than 50 points including Mohannagar, Lalkuan, UP Gate, Noida Sector-62 on NH-9 and near Siddharth Vihar, Loni-Bhopura, Govindpuram, Old Bus Stand, New Bus Stand, outside Kaushambi Depot where the vehicles are completely occupied.
The situation is such that rogue vehicle operators enter inside Kaushambi bus stand and take passengers. Every day, Transport Corporation officials catch them and hand them over to the police. Even after this it is not stopping.
E-buses had to be stopped from Govindpuram
The Urban Development Department had started operating e-buses from Govindpuram to Kaushambi, but due to the operation of more than 20 Duggar buses from here, the e-buses were not getting passengers.
Dagmar bus operators provide e-buses to reach Kaushambi at less than half the fare. Due to this, the Urban Development Department had to stop the operation of e-buses. Apart from this, there are many routes from where the operation of e-buses had to be stopped.
The transport corporation is incurring huge losses due to rickety vehicles. Survey is being conducted in the city. The survey report of the places from where the rickshaw vehicles are being operated will be sent to the RTO. After this the department will take action to stop the fraud.
