Jagran correspondent, Bahraich. 70 farmers from the districts of Delhi and Uttarakhand will learn the latest agricultural techniques and use them in farming. For this, a group of farmers left for training on Sunday. The team of farmers will be involved in training for two weeks.
Submission on Agriculture Extension Under Atma Yojana, the training team of farmers was flagged off from Krishi Bhawan complex by Deputy Director Agriculture Vinay Kumar Verma on Sunday. Farmers will receive training at Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
What is its purpose?
Deputy Director Agriculture asked the farmers to take training seriously there and also observe the crops sown at the institute. By learning the latest agricultural technology and using it to increase their own crop productivity, they should also promote agricultural technology among the farmers around them. So that they can also earn more income by increasing their crop production.
