Sports Desk, New Delhi. In the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Ishan Kishan burst on fire with the bat and made Jharkhand the champion for the first time under his captaincy. The explosive left-handed batsman played a stormy innings of 101 runs in just 49 balls in the final against Haryana. During this, Kishan hit six fours and 10 sixes.
Jharkhand won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title for the first time by defeating Haryana by 69 runs. After this, the hero of the match Ishan Kishan expressed his pain at being left out of the Indian team. Kishan has been kept out of the national team from 2023.
Kishan also faced disciplinary issues under the watch of then coach Rahul Dravid and chief selector Ajit Agarkar. The Jharkhand captain admitted that that time was mentally challenging for him.

Although, Ishan Kishan may be in great form, but his selection in the national team for T20 World Cup 2026 seems difficult. However, Kishan insisted that he had given up expectations.
