Samvad Sutra, Ramkanda (Garhwa). A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Ramkanda police station area in Jharkhand's Garhwa district, where the body of a 15-year-old girl has been recovered from a pigeon pea field, about 700 meters away from the village. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of mourning and tension in the entire area.
According to the information, the victim was returning from a wedding ceremony organized in the village on the evening of 21 February. She was coming towards home with two small children aged 4–5 years, but did not reach home after that. When he did not return till late night, the family started searching.
On the morning of 22 February, family members and villagers held a meeting and conducted an investigation, during which the body of the girl was recovered from the pigeon pea field. Marks were found on the neck of the dead body.
Accusation of murder after rape
The family members are suspecting murder after rape, although its official confirmation will be available only after the post mortem report comes. As soon as information about the incident was received, police station in-charge Surendra Singh Kuntiya reached the spot with the police force.
The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and a thorough investigation into the case has been started. Nearby villagers are being interrogated and investigation is being done from every aspect.
Local head Shravan Prasad Kamlapuri has described the incident as extremely tragic and has demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter.

When asked in this regard, Ranka sub-divisional police officer Rohit Ranjan Singh said that four people are being interrogated. Police is busy taking action on the matter.
