The city police station has arrested five more accused on production warrant from the court in the case of kidnapping of a young man and killing him by beating him with sticks. The accused have been identified as Vikas alias Monu, resident of village Bhali Anandpur in Rohtak district, Tarun alias Tannu, Anuj alias Doctor, Neeraj alias Ajju and Harsh alias Totla, resident of village Gokalgarh.

According to the police, Nitesh alias Choti, a resident of village Bhateda, had gone with his friends to buy goods from the market on October 15 last year. His companions Ankit alias Chaman, Mohit and Yash were sitting on the bike and he, his companions Vijay, Praveen and Kuldeep Pandit were sitting on the scooter. When he reached Mohalla Nai Basti to go towards the market, Mannu Saini alias Yash was already standing there with his bike.

Mannu Saini stopped the bike of Ankit alias Chaman, who was moving ahead of him. As soon as the bike was stopped, Mannu Saini started abusing, which led to a fight. After that Mannu Saini called his brother and other colleagues. Seeing the possibility of a fight again, he left to drop his friends Praveen alias PG and Kuldeep Pandit to their village Guravada.

When he reached near Jhajjar Chowk, some boys were seen coming from behind on bikes. After this, after climbing the Jhajjar flyover, a Bolero vehicle from the front hit the bike of Ankit alias Chaman traveling in front of him with the intention of killing him. Due to the collision, Ankit alias Chaman's bike fell on the same road. After this, the bike riding youth coming behind him hit his scooter from behind.

Shivam Saini and Tarun alias Tannu, who came in the Bolero car, along with their associates, forcibly put Ankit alias Chaman in the car and took him towards Gokalgarh. After about an hour, the accused threw his associate Ankit alias Chaman in a half-dead condition in front of ITI Rewari and left.

Ankit alias Chaman was admitted to Rewari Trauma Center for treatment in critical condition, where he died during treatment. The police had already registered a case against the accused and arrested five accused Ravindra Kumar alias Mangiya, Shivam Saini, Gajendra alias Chintu, Sonia and Mahampal alias Lalu. On Friday, the police arrested five more accused Vikas alias Monu, Tarun alias Tannu, Anuj alias Doctor, Neeraj alias Ajju and Harsh alias Totla on production warrant from the court, interrogated them and took them on remand for five days.
