Jagran correspondent, Amethi. Two died in an accident due to fog near Mangalam School in Musafirkhana Nagar on Lucknow Varanasi Highway. Around 10 have been injured. Due to dense fog many vehicles collided with each other.
Four trucks, a car and Janrath bus of Hardoi depot collided with each other on Lucknow Varanasi National Highway Amethi Road overbridge due to dense fog. Three Hydras and four JCBs have been deployed for rescue. After the accident, Additional Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Singh, CO Atul Singh, SDM Abhinav Kanojia, Tehsildar Rahul Singh are present on the spot.
The injured were sent from CHC to the district hospital.
The injured have been sent to the district hospital from Musafirkhana CHC. The condition of everyone is said to be serious. The accident happened around 2.30 in the night. After the accident, there was a queue of vehicles on both sides of the highway.
