Friend's sister implicated in love jihad in Bhopal (symbolic picture)
JNN, Bhopal. Avesh Khan, a resident of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested on charges of love jihad. The accused, hiding his identity, befriended a young man working in a factory and trapped his sister in his love trap. The accused raped her and was blackmailing her by making obscene videos. The police have arrested the accused.
It has been revealed that accused Avesh Khan was living in Katara Hills police station area of Bhopal and working in a factory for the last six years. Hiding his identity, he started calling his name as Raja.
The 22 year old sister of a young man working in a factory was trapped in a love trap. When the girl came to know his reality, she went away. On this, Avesh started blackmailing him by threatening to broadcast the video.
The girl showed courage and informed the Hindu organizations about this. When the accused reached to meet the girl, workers of Hindu organizations caught him and handed him over to the police. During police investigation, 40 obscene videos were found in Avesh Khan's mobile. The chat has also come to light.
Katara Hills police station in-charge Sunil Dubey said that apart from the victim, videos of two other girls were found from the mobile phone of the accused. It is feared that there may be more victims in his contact. The mobile has been sent for forensic examination.
