Farmers spraying chemicals in the fields in Dala. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Modinagar. Excessive use of chemicals in fields to produce more produce in less time is directly impacting people's health. Due to the use of chemical substances, poison is getting dissolved in the crop residue, water and air along with the produce. Due to this, the immunity of people is decreasing, due to which dangerous viruses are easily entering the body and making people sick.
Even in the rural areas of Ghaziabad district, chemicals are being used on a large scale in the fields. Chemicals are being put in the fields for the production of wheat, rice, sugarcane and vegetable crops. With environment contaminated it is harmful for people. Many poisonous substances are entering the human body with food.
In Modinagar-Muradnagar, farming is done at other places including Niwari, Talala, Bhojpur, Ishapur, Kilhaura, Bhatjan, Chudiyala, Talhaita, Hapur Road, where farmers spray chemicals in the fields. There are only a few areas where organic and natural farming is being done. But their produce is being used only for themselves.
Farmers believe that due to increasing demand and inflation they are forced to use chemicals. Agricultural experts say that after putting chemicals in the fields, not only the crop residues get contaminated, but also the crops grown are also affected by the chemicals, which reach people's bodies through food.
Medicine given to animals for more milk production, poison for humans
There are many dairies in rural areas, where animal husbandry takes place. From here, cow and buffalo milk is supplied to the entire district. But most dairy operators give medicines to animals by injection to increase milk production. Due to which the quantity of milk increases by some percent.
But this milk gradually starts having negative effects on people's health. There is a risk of serious diseases. It is not that milk is harmful for the body, but extracting more milk than the capacity from the animal with the help of medicines leads to deficiency of nutrients and side effects of the medicines on the human body.
The use of chemicals in fields harms water, soil, crop residues and also the health of people. This is a major reason for the increase in diseases among people. The Agriculture Department is promoting organic and natural farming. Continuous campaigns are also being run to make farmers aware.

Medicines injected into animals to increase milk production have serious effects on the human body. This milk causes hormonal imbalance in the human body and even reduces reproductive capacity. To prevent this, campaigns are run by the department from time to time.
