Gifts Showered On Agricultural Equipment In Fatehpur, Faces Of 46 Farmers Lit Up Through E-lottery, They Got Grant.

Jagran correspondent, Fatehpur. Under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, the benefits of e-lottery were distributed to the farmers on Friday. A total of 46 farmers had applied for different subsidized equipment. E-lottery was opened under the supervision of ADM Judicial Sunil Kumar and Deputy Director Agricultural Extension.

There were 17 farmers from whom only one application had been received, hence their selection was done automatically. 11 farmers were selected for the equipment through e-lottery.

Deputy Director of Agricultural Extension Narottam Kumar said that the process of subsidizing the equipment for the Sub Mission on Agriculture Mechanization Scheme and Promotion of Agriculture Mechanization for In Situ Management of Crop Residue (CRM) for the year 2025-26 in front of the District Level Executive Committee was completed in a transparent manner at Vikas Bhawan.

To purchase these subsidized machines, farmers had made online booking between January 8 and 21. Selected farmers will have to purchase agricultural equipment as per the standards from a registered firm and upload the bill on the Darshan-2 portal within the prescribed time limit, which will be verified and the grant amount will be given to the firm.

District Horticulture Officer, LDM, District Informatics Officer, Sub Divisional Agricultural Extension Officer, representatives of progressive farmers and self-help groups were present in the e-lottery.

Automatic selection on as many applications as the target

During the e-lottery, there were 17 farmers who applied equal to the target. Due to this, their selection became automatic.

Among those selected automatically without lottery, one beneficiary each of Oil Mill with Filter Press, Tractor Mounted Sprayer, Kisan Drone, Power Tiller, Mini Rice Mill, Farm Machinery Bank, Rotavator, Laser Land Leveler, Tractor Driven Combine Harvester, Reaper cum Binder was selected.

At the same time, the target was two farmers each for multicrop thresher and super seeder. Since there were two applications each, they were selected without lottery. Power operated chaff cutters were given to three beneficiaries.
