Digital Desk, Indore. In the sensational case of murder of an MBA student, the police has arrested the absconding classmate accused from Mumbai. During interrogation, the behavior of the accused was found unusual. According to the police, after the murder, he appeared to be mentally unstable and after committing inhuman acts with the body, he fled to Mumbai, where he allegedly used sorcery to contact the student's spirit.
When the Dwarkapuri police station interrogated the accused Piyush Dhamnodiya, he started crying remembering the student and insisted on talking to her. The police officers explained to him that he himself had committed the murder and could no longer turn away from the truth. After this, the accused confessed to the crime and said that after the murder, he drank alcohol and did objectionable acts.
Learned method from YouTube to 'contact the soul'
Investigation revealed that after reaching Mumbai, the accused started thinking about the student. He searched for ways to talk to spirits on YouTube and allegedly performed the Totke ritual in a secluded area of Nala Sopara. For this she bought makeup items like kunkun, turmeric, bangles and bindiya. He already had the student's Aadhar card and ring. The accused believed that the student would come in his dreams and talk to him.
According to police station in-charge Manish Mishra, the mental condition of the accused does not seem to be normal and he is being medically examined.
Had fled Mumbai after posting obscene video
According to Krishna Lalchandani (DCP, Zone-1), Piyush, a resident of Janakpuri, has confessed to absconding to Mumbai by train after the murder of the second year MBA student. He told during interrogation that soon after boarding the train, he posted the obscene video made with the student in the college group and also uploaded it on WhatsApp status.

The accused also admitted that in order to mislead the student's family, he sent messages from her mobile asking her not to come home. Later the mobile was broken and thrown away in Mumbai.

The police is now preparing to take the accused to Mumbai and recover the mobile. According to TI Manish Mishra, after the incident, the accused had also thrown the key of the room at the Footi Kothi intersection, which has not been recovered till now.
