Glass bridge on Ajgaivinath temple ghat on the lines of Rajgir: NP Chairman

Samvad Sutra, Ajgaivinath Dham (Bhagalpur). Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees of the city's icon Baba Ajgaivinath Temple situated on the banks of Uttarwahini Ganga, the Municipal Council has started rejuvenating the temple. Municipal Chairman Rajkumar Guddu and Executive Officer Krishna Bhushan Kumar held a meeting with Municipal Corporation employees on Wednesday and took many important decisions.

Showing promptness, the Chairman inspected the Ajgaivinath temple along with architect Vikas Kumar and assistant engineer Amit Kumar of Patna Consultancy. The Chairman said that on the lines of Rajgir, a glass bridge will be built on the Ajgaivinath temple ghat. For which DPR is being prepared.

Grand entrance gates will be built in two different directions of the temple complex.

The EO said that two grand entry and exit gates will be built in different directions of the temple complex. They will also have different nomenclature. Carved stones will be installed at the entrances. This will further enhance the beauty of the temple. He told that the steps of the stairs of the temple are very high and sloping. Due to which devotees face difficulty in climbing higher.

For the convenience of the devotees, the height of the stairs will be reduced and made attractive. A VIP gate will be constructed at the exit gate of the Shiv temple complex. The work of this gate will be completed before Shravan. After this, devotees will be able to enter the temple by walking down the stairs of the main gate.

An attractive park will be built in front of the mythological Shiva temple

After circumambulation and darshan of the temple, an exit route has been made from the north side. There will also be a ramp for disabled devotees at the main and VIP gates. Apart from this, an attractive park will be constructed between the parking lot near the main gate and the parikrama path in front of the mythological Shiva temple.

The Municipal Chairman said that the path leading to Parvati Temple via Ajgaivinath Temple will be renovated giving it a modern look. The damaged PCC road leading to the temple will be renovated. Construction work will be started after Mahashivratri. The target has been set that all the work will be completed before the beginning of the world famous Shravani Fair.
