Dialogue partner, Hazaribagh. ACB has filed a charge sheet in the court on Tuesday against Vinay Singh, who is involved in the illegal purchase and sale of government land. This charge sheet has been filed by the researcher in the court of Additional Judge II cum Special Court (Surveillance) Asha Rani Bhatt under anti-corruption case number 11/2025.
In ACB case number 9/25, ACB has also filed a charge sheet against the accused and jailed Vijay Pratap Singh. In this, charges have been leveled under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 13(1) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. It was told that in this case, former IAS Vinay Chaubey, Mahindra showroom owner Vinay Singh, then zonal officer Shailesh Kumar, then zonal inspector Rajendra Prasad were accused of illegally buying and selling government land. A case has been registered against Singh, then revenue employee Ram Prakash Chaudhary, then revenue employee Santosh Kumar Verma and 68 others. The informant in this case is Deputy Superintendent of Police Sumit Saurabh Lakra and the informant of case number 9/25 is Deputy Superintendent of Police Kishore Kumar Rajak. He told in his statement that a complaint application was given by the applicant Tripurari Singh (Journalist) to the Honorable Chief Minister, Jharkhand, in which it was said that government lands like Bhoodan, Forest Land, Gochar, Gair Majrua Aam and Khas are being acquired illegally by land mafias.
Before filling the bail letter, SB JP was picked up from jail and taken to Ranchi for questioning.
Vinay Kumar Singh got bail from the Supreme Court on 19 December. The order reached on 23rd December and before Vinay Singh could get bail by signing the bail letter, ACB took Vinay Singh to Ranchi for questioning. Which the court has considered as disobeying the order.
Advocate Shankar Banerjee, appearing on behalf of Vinay Singh, said that he will go to the Supreme Court regarding this matter and explain how the court order was not followed.
He told that Vinay Singh had got bail in 11/25 from the Supreme Court on 19th December and the bail process was to be completed in Hazaribagh on 23rd December. However, it was told that the court has issued a historic order in this case and has granted bail by taking a security of Rs 50 thousand without submitting the bail letter.
Court refuses to give warrant to Vinay Singh's wife Snigdha Singh
In the entire episode, the court refused to give the warrant to the ACB team which reached the court to get a warrant against Vinay Singh's wife Snigdha Singh. The court has rejected the ACB application.
