Digital Desk, Gwalior. The news of kidnapping of a girl in broad daylight in the city's busiest Dal Bazaar area created a stir on Thursday. From 4 pm to 11 pm, the police remained busy in solving this mystery. When the layers were revealed, it came to light that this was not an ordinary kidnapping, but a well-planned conspiracy of an organized gang committing fraud in the name of marriage.
The gang first fixed the deal for the marriage of a builder's mentally weak son for Rs 2 lakh. The girl was also shown, consent was obtained and as per the plan, it was even notarized. After the notary, the builder was assured that the girl had now become his daughter-in-law. But within some time the whole game changed.
Scene changed after 10 minutes of notary
Mahendra Parashar, resident of Shivpuri Link Road, was worried for a long time about the marriage of his son Asmit Parashar. During this time, he met Bunty Dhakad, a resident of Parsauta, Morena, who took two lakh rupees with the promise of getting him married. Bunty shows the relationship to Poonam Gaur, who agrees to the marriage. Heera Thakur and his wife Shivani came together posing as relatives, while Vijay Kumar was said to be the girl's brother.

Notarization was done near the old High Court on Thursday. After this Poonam was sent by car along with Mahendra and his son. Just 10 minutes later, the accused parked their vehicle in front of the car in Dal Bazaar.
Attack by saying 'Where are you taking our sister?'
The accused, wearing a cloth over their mouth, approached the car, hit the glass and started beating Mahendra and his son as soon as they opened the gate. The accused, introducing themselves as the girl's brother and family member, said, "Where are you taking our sister?" After this, they forcibly took the girl with them and ran away.
Rumor of kidnapping exposed by CCTV
After CCTV footage of the incident surfaced, rumors of kidnapping spread on the internet media. When the truth came out in the investigation, the police exposed the entire conspiracy of fraud in the name of marriage.
Three accused arrested, two absconding
Police have taken Bunty Dhakad, Shivani Thakur and Heera Thakur into custody. Poonam Gaur and Vijay Kumar are absconding. Police is taking action to register a case against the accused under various sections including fraud.
The incident that happened in the pulse market was a well-planned conspiracy. Took money in exchange for the marriage of the builder's son.
