This year, extensive preparations are being made by the district administration and Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha for the upcoming Shivratri. According to the information, cinema stars and many senior religious gurus will also participate in the grand Shiva procession on Shivratri. Meanwhile, in view of the huge crowd on Basant Panchami, the district administration has made adequate arrangements for security and facilities. Amid barricades at various places, deployment of police force at main intersections and smooth arrangements, devotees will continue performing Jalabhishek till late evening. After this, preparations for Shivratri in Baba Dham will become more intense.
