Thieves stole the ATM around 11:30 pm. Awakening

Bihar Crime: After committing theft incidents in Danapur, Sonpur, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Chhapra and Siwan of the state, on Thursday night, thieves cut the SBI ATM located at Alok Bharti Chowk and Gahiri in Nautan police station area of the city with a gas cutter and stole about Rs 23 lakh 50 thousand.
There was panic as soon as information about theft in ATM was received on Friday morning. SDPO and police of the concerned police station reached the spot for investigation. Dog squad and FSL team were called for investigation.
The police scanned the CCTV footage installed nearby. However, the police have not been able to find any clue yet. There is a possibility of involvement of vicious criminals from Haryana in the incident. Sadar SDPO Vivek Deep said that the police is investigating the matter. The thief gang will be exposed soon.
Same gang has stolen from both ATMs
Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that both the theft incidents were carried out by the same gang. Thieves stole the ATM in Gahiri, Nautan around 11:30 pm. Whereas in the ATM near Alok Bharti Chowk of the city, at around 1 o'clock in the night, an incident of theft was carried out by cutting the ATM with a gas cutter.
Money was deposited in both the ATMs on Thursday evening. About Rs 11 lakh was stolen from the Gahiri ATM in Nautan and about Rs 12.50 lakh was stolen from the ATM located in Alok Bharti Chowk, Bettiah.
Miscreants had brought gas cutter in Innova
The distance from Gahiri of Nautan to Alok Bharti Chowk of Bettiah is around 15 kilometers. The miscreants had come in an Innova car. As soon as they arrived, they sprayed black on the CC camera installed in the ATM, so that their face could not be captured in the camera. After this, they cut the ATM with a gas cutter, withdrew the entire amount and then comfortably left in the Innova vehicle.
The incident of theft from ATM is being investigated. Night patrolling will also be investigated. At present, action is being taken to identify the miscreants and arrest them. Soon this incident will be exposed and the miscreants will also be arrested.
