Heated Debate Between Minister Sanjay Nishad And SP Members, Attempt To Snatch Paper Amid Uproar In Assembly

During the discussion on the budget in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday evening, there was a heated debate between Fisheries Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad and SP members. Opposition members came in front of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and raised slogans. Amidst the uproar, some members also tried to snatch the paper from Sanjay Nishad's hand.

Amidst the uproar, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh complained to the bench, saying there was an attempt to attack the minister. Sanjay Nishad said that Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey should apologize for the caste based word used in her statement on the Governor's address. If they do not apologise, a case will be filed against them under SCST Act.

At around 6 pm, during the discussion on the budget, Sanjay Nishad accused SP and Congress of doing injustice to the Nishads and said that the Nishad community fought the British, fought the Mughals and are also fighting these dishonest people (Congress-SP) for the last 75 years. These SP people sitting on the right did not give even a single rupee to the fishermen community during their 30 years in power. These (Sapai) are crocodiles of fishermen. The money that came from Delhi was also eaten.

He was seen continuously attacking SP. Alleged that these people got all the big leaders of Nishads killed. Took names of Phoolan Devi, Jamuna Nishad etc. SP members started protesting on these issues. The minister said that the previous governments looted livelihoods along with jobs. Society has now sent me here to expose these people. Meanwhile the debate and argument intensified.

The protesting SP members said that the time for ministers is 10 minutes, whereas the minister has spoken for 18 minutes, he is giving a political statement instead of the budget. Saying this, SP members came in front of the Speaker's chair and started raising slogans. Dean Manju Siwach asked the minister to end the conversation.

Meanwhile, some SP members moved towards Sanjay Nishad and tried to snatch the paper from his hand. The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs termed it a scuffle and sought intervention from the Dean. Speaker Satish Mahana arrived amid the uproar in the House.

He pacified both the parties and said that it is not at all appropriate that they should not talk to each other like this. You can also express your views in a sarcastic manner, but maintain the decorum of words.
