This accident happened late last night near Bhootnath bridge on Kullu-Manali national highway, in which three died on the spot, while a girl was seriously injured. It is being told that his companion, another young man, had fallen behind. The injured girl is undergoing treatment in the regional hospital, Kullu, where her condition is said to be critical.
There were five people on board, one had got down before the accident site
The accident happened last night at around 1 o'clock. Satpal, a resident of Kullu, was returning from Kasol with his four friends, including a young man and three girls. Satpal's birthday was on 31st December. He had gone to Kasol with friends to celebrate his birthday and New Year.
Car goes under truck after hitting parapet
While returning, his Hyundai car HP 34E-5965 went out of control near Bhoothnath and hit the roadside parapet head first. After this the car went under a truck parked on the roadside. The collision was so severe that the vehicle was badly damaged.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local people reached the spot and informed the police. The police reached the spot and with the help of local people, after a lot of effort, pulled out the four people trapped in the car.
Satpal was a tattoo artist
Deceased Satpal was a tattoo artist by profession and he had a tattoo shop in Akhara market of Kullu. He was quite popular among the youth for his work. His sudden death has brought a mountain of sorrow to the family.
What is the reason for the accident?
Police have registered the case and started investigating the cause of the accident. In the initial investigation, there is a possibility of high speed and uncontrolled vehicle. Today, post-mortem of all three bodies will be done at Kullu Hospital, after which the bodies will be handed over to the family. In this context, a case has been registered against the car driver in Kullu police station.

In the accident, the car driver, 25 year old Satpal, son of Dhyanchand, resident of Chamunda Nagar Post Office, Dhalpur Tehsil and District Kullu, 20 year old Ankita, daughter of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Tandi, Lahaul Spiti and 20 year old Kashish, daughter of Tejram, resident of Jallugran sub tehsil, Jari district, Kullu have died.
Seriously injured girl referred to AIIMS
In the accident, 20 year old Ratanjali's daughter Yudhishthir Lal, resident of village and post office Sachani tehsil Bhuntar district Kullu, is seriously injured, who has been referred to AIIMS Bilaspur from Regional Hospital Kullu.
