After the accident, the driver drove away his vehicle, police started searching

Jagran correspondent, Farrukhabad. Two cousins, who were coming to their maternal home by bike to attend the birthday party of their maternal uncle's son, met with an accident on the way. An unknown vehicle hit his bike and ran away, crushing both of them. The young man driving the bike died on the spot. The cousin sitting behind in critical condition died on the way while being brought to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
On Tuesday evening, 18-year-old Abhishek Rajput, resident of village Bareth in Bhogaon area of Mainpuri district, was coming to his maternal home in Nagla Dattu on a bike with his 14-year-old cousin Rajan Rajput. There was a birthday party of uncle Hotelal's son in his maternal grandmother's house.
As soon as his bike reached near Chanduiya village on Achara-Nawabganj road at around six o'clock, an unknown vehicle coming in front hit his bike. Due to this, both of them fell on the road and the vehicle crushed them. After the accident, the driver fled with the vehicle.
Both were brought to the Community Health Center by ambulance. There Dr. Vipin Kumar declared Abhishek dead. His head was injured because he was not wearing a helmet. Rajan had serious injuries on his forehead, nose and hands. For this reason, after first aid, he was sent to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Rajan also died on the way.
Dr. Abhishek Chaturvedi declared Rajan dead at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. After the incident, relatives reached the spot and there was hue and cry in CHC and Lohia Hospital. Abhishek's father Vivekananda Rajput and Rajan's father Sachchidanand alias Bablu and mother Neelam also reached there.
On the other hand, outpost in-charge Somveer Singh took information regarding the incident at CHC. Kotwali in-charge Madanmohan Chaturvedi said that Sub-Inspector Jagdish Verma has been sent to the spot. The vehicle that caused the accident is being searched. A case will be registered when the complaint is received.
