Samvadsutra, Jagran, Dostpur, Sultanpur. Late Friday night, an unknown truck hit a pickup on the Purvanchal Expressway. Two people died in this accident. Seven injured have been referred to Ambedkar Nagar Medical College.
Pickup Bolero (UP32 BT-2678) going from Rae Bareli to Azamgarh was hit hard by an unknown truck. After the collision, the truck driver fled towards Ghazipur with the vehicle. In the accident, the pickup went out of control and collided with the MBCB and overturned. There were 14 workers working at the kiln in the pickup. One deceased has been identified as Ajay son of Ramnaresh Gandhipuram police station Guru Buxganj district Rae Bareli. The second deceased has not been identified.
The injured include Ashok (40), Naresh Pasi (45), Ramprasad (40), Vinod (40), Dilip (35), Rajesh (40) and Raju (30), all are said to be residents of Rae Bareli district. The injured were taken by ambulance to the government hospital Dostpur, where after first aid they were referred to Ambedkar Nagar.

Police station in-charge Dostpur took action to get Panchnama done! Relief work was hampered due to dense fog. Meanwhile, another pickup (UP36T-5002) collided with the accident vehicle after hitting the safety cone in the fog, in which driver Salman was injured. He has also been sent to the hospital. Police and security team reached the spot and removed the vehicles and restored the traffic.
