Rohit Jandial, Jammu. Of course, the government has been making claims of increasing the road network, but sometimes something like this is seen in the assembly in which all the claims are refuted and painful stories of the lives of influential people are heard.

Said in the Assembly on Thursday that if there was a six kilometer road in his village, his father would have reached the hospital on time after the heart attack and perhaps his life would have been saved.

During the discussion on the demands for grants of the Public Works Department, Industry and Commerce and Mining Department, Chaudhary mentioned a painful incident of his life. When his father suffered a heart attack, there was no road to his village. The road was five to six kilometers away from home, due to which he could not be taken to the hospital on time.

Circumstances forced me to become an MLA

MLA Chaudhary said that he came into politics not out of his own will but out of compulsion. Said that, I did not aspire to become an MLA, but circumstances forced me to come on this path.

MLA Chaudhary, a resident of Rehan village in Budhal tehsil, demanded Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary, who is also the minister in-charge of the Public Works Department, to ensure construction of the road to his village. He also stressed the need for road construction in other remote areas of his constituency.

The month remained closed. Tourists are not able to reach here due to the poor road conditions. He also raised the issue of Dudu to Sioj Dhar, Chakal to Sia Meri, Kulwanta-Jophad-Bassian, Sunetre to Pyala, Masal-Rasain, Chowki-Ghordi, Rannagar-Kela and Ladhar routes.
