Samvad Sutra, Jagran Sumerpur (Hamirpur). After the rape of a Hindu girl, her obscene video went viral on the internet media, creating a situation of tension in Sumerpur town. Within no time, people gathered on the streets and after closing the market, angry people surrounded the Sumerpur police station and started raising slogans against the police administration.

After a scuffle with the police, people blocked the Kanpur Sagar Highway. The girl's brother said that if his sister did not get justice, he would commit suicide in the police station itself. Angered by the incident, people also pelted stones outside the house of the accused Muslim youth.

In which the vehicles and glass railings parked outside the house were damaged. Seeing the anger of the people, police guard has been deployed at the house of the accused. On the complaint of the girl's father, the police have registered a case under a total of nine sections including rape, POCSO Act, religious conversion, threat to life and property, sexual harassment.

After the uproar that lasted for about five hours in Sumerpur town, people stopped the uproar after assurance of immediate arrest of the accused. During this period, police force from about four to five police stations remained deployed.

Afan Khan, son of timber businessman Maulana Khan, resident of Kamlesh Tiraha in the town, lured a Hindu girl into the trap of love by hiding her religion and after raping her, made an obscene video of her. After this, pressure was put on the girl to convert.

When the girl refused, the young man made the girl's obscene video viral on the internet media late on Wednesday night. As soon as the video went viral, anger arose among Hindu organizations and a crowd of leaders and workers of Hindu organizations gathered at the victim's house since morning.

Hindu organizations reached the police station along with the victim's father and created ruckus and demanded action. People closed the market and blocked Sagar Highway in front of the police station. Not only this, the angry people also created a ruckus and pelted stones outside the house of the accused youth.

Due to which the glass railing of the vehicle and the house got damaged. After which police guard was put outside the house. On receiving information about the incident, Sadar MLA Dr. Manoj Prajapati and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jyotirmayanand Giri Maharaj and others also reached the police station and demanded strict action against the accused.

This commotion continued for about five hours. On receiving information about the uproar, the police force of five police stations including Hamirpur, Sumerpur, Kurara, Lalpura reached Sumerpur. SDM KD Sharma and CO Sadar Rajesh Kamal also reached the spot and tried to convince the people.

On the complaint of the victim's father, the police have registered a case against town resident Maulana Khan and his son Afan Khan under a total of nine sections including religious conversion, rape, threatening life and property, POCSO Act.

CO Sadar Rajesh Kamal said that on the complaint of the girl's father, a case has been registered against the accused Afan Khan and his father Maulana Khan under sections like rape, POCSO Act, IT Act, religious conversion and other sections. Maulana Khan, father of the accused, has been taken into custody. Three teams have been deployed to arrest the son. He will also be arrested soon.
