While trying to stop and resolve the dispute between the two parties, people entered Navshildham police post of Kalyanpur on Thursday night and one party beat and vandalized the other party. The Inspector of the police station filed a case against 11 accused, in which four were arrested and sent to jail. The team is busy searching for others.
According to Sub Inspector Rohit Singh posted at Kalyanpur police station, after the end of duty on Thursday night, he reached Navshildham police post. Outside the post, Prince Patel and two-three people of the locality, Aditya Patel, Sachin Patel alias Daga, Shobhit, Ashutosh Tiwari, Ashish Patel, Sawan Shukla along with three-four unknown associates were abusing and beating them. When he tried to intervene, they quarreled with him, entered inside the post and started fighting and vandalizing it.
Information about the incident was given to Kalyanpur police station. The accused ran away when the police force arrived. Rohit Singh filed a case against 11 accused under sections including obstruction of government work and assault, out of which four were arrested in a raid. ACP Kalyanpur Ashutosh Kumar said that four accused including accused Aditya, Prince Kanojia, Anshu have been arrested and sent to jail. Others are being searched.

Police arrested the accused who beat an e-rickshaw driver with slippers near Kalyanpur crossing. The accused was identified through a popular video. A video went viral on the internet media on Friday, in which a young man was seen beating an e-rickshaw driver standing on the roadside near Kalyanpur crossing with slippers and kicking him. The video was said to be from near Kalyanpur crossing. Police investigated and on the basis of the video identified the accused as Neeraj Singh, resident of Kalyanpur Kala. Kalyanpur police station in-charge Rajendrakant Shukla said that there are already six cases against the youth in Kalyanpur and Kakadev police stations. Action has been taken against him.
