43 people got the first dose. 43 people reached Zilla Hospital and got the first dose. Along with this, 45 people have got the second and third dose. Ekta, Jageshwar Prasad, Ramlakhan, Devi Prasad, Ramkishore, Marjina, Shailesh Kumar, Mohd. Zakir, Rizwana Bano, Muzammil Ali, Swadesh Vajpayee, Manoj, Surajdin, Raju Pal and others reached the district hospital after being bitten by a dog.
Similarly, 55 people were given rabies injection in CHC Lalganj, 41 in Unchahar, seven in Dih and three in Maharajganj. In the same Kailashpuri locality, two children playing outside the house were bitten by a dog.
Medical Officer Dr. Saurabh Sharma said that more cases of dog bites are coming from children and elderly people. If bitten by a dog, wash with strong running water for 15 minutes, go to a public hospital and get a tetanus injection within 24 hours and a rabies injection within 72 hours. It is necessary to administer four doses of intra dermal or five doses of intramuscular. In case of bleeding or tearing of the flesh, it is necessary to inject anti-rabies serum immunoglobulin into the wound within 72 hours.
