Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. In Jajmau, the road under construction of CM Grid Scheme from KDA intersection to Galla Godown has become a pond of mud after digging and rain. In this, the truck got stuck while the e-rickshaw overturned on Saturday.
Shopkeepers and local residents Rehman Ansari, Zaid Ahsan, Junaib, Shakib etc. who are facing problems told that the sewer line on the dug road has been filled with soil, due to which the line got choked. The sewer water was already boiling. Now due to rain it is difficult to walk due to mud on the entire road.
E rickshaw driver Surendra, resident of Tadbagiya, was going to Defense Colony to take a ride. The e-rickshaw overturned in a water filled pit. At the same time, the front wheel of the truck going from Galla Godown to KDA intersection got stuck in the pit.
The truck was pulled out with the help of a crane. Complaint about flowing sewerage and spread of soil on the road has been made on the Jansunwai portal, but the problem has not been resolved yet. Regional councilor Nouren Ahmed says that the problem has increased due to rain after digging.
