At the same time, traders earlier used to make special plans to visit the major markets of Delhi. Agents coming from Mumbai or other major cities of the country, who till now used to return from Delhi, will now show interest in coming to Meerut.

Market and Gate: There are two gates here. Gate number two is for going towards Sharda Road. It is near Sharda Road turn i.e. Delhi Customs. Sharda Road market is 300 meters away from here. To reach major shops one can go on foot or by e-rickshaw etc. By getting down from gate number one, one can reach Baghpat Adda and Football Chowk on foot. Metro Plaza is 270 meters away, while Meerut Mall and KMC Hospital are 400 meters away each. Will reach on foot in about six minutes. Can do auto also. To reach the scrap market, one can hire an auto from the Metro Plaza, as it is about 800 meters away. There is a bullion market 1.5 kilometers away, which can be reached via the scrap market.

Sadar Bazaar is at a distance of 750 meters, it will take about 10 minutes on foot. Sotiganj market is 550 meters away and it will take about eight minutes to reach there. Gate number two is towards Sadar Tehsil complex, while Jalikothi intersection is the nearest place.

One can easily go inside Jali Kothi market through this. The district hospital is 950 meters away. If there is no jam, it will take 10 minutes to reach there by auto. Sarafa Bazaar is 1.6 km away, for which autos are available. Gate number one is in the direction of Martyr Memorial and Bhainsali Maidan, from where Sadar Bazaar is at a distance of 850 meters, it will take about 12 minutes on foot. Aaykar Bhawan is 280 meters away. You will reach there on foot within minutes.

Market and Gate: Gate number one is at zero mile towards Begumpul police post. Abulen is 550 meters away from here and will take about eight minutes on foot. You will reach Sadar Bazaar located at a distance of 800 meters in about 12 minutes. Gate number four is 50 meters away in the direction leading to Gandhi Bagh.

Going to Delhi is a big challenge. One has to go on a holiday and it takes the whole day. Three to four thousand rupees are spent just in commuting, but now it will be possible to reach major markets like Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazaar in Delhi for just three-four hundred rupees.
