Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. The mental condition of the youth who had a fight with the security personnel in the Gorakhnath temple complex on Sunday night has been found to be not normal. Police investigation revealed that he was under stress for a long time due to the rejection of his passport application and under the same mental pressure, he created a ruckus at the temple gate.
The incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Sunday night. 35-year-old Radheshyam Rajbhar, a resident of Chandrawar Dugauli, Nagara, Ballia, went inside the southern gate of the temple. After entering the premises, he was trying to go towards the temple office. When the PAC jawan on duty started searching and interrogating him, he became furious.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man started shouting loudly and accusing the security personnel of unnecessary restriction. Seeing the situation worsening, additional police force was called to the spot and the youth was caught and brought to Gorakhnath police station. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the temple premises for some time.
Rumors of snatching of weapons also spread, but the police clarified that no such incident took place. The young man had only pushed and misbehaved, which was immediately controlled.
During interrogation at the police station, the youth told that his passport application had been canceled and he had brought an application in this regard. He hoped that he would get some help from the office located in the temple premises. But he lost his temper when the office was closed and he was prevented from entering. The police analyzed the CCTV camera footage and recorded the statements of the security personnel present at the spot. Also the family members of the youth were contacted.

Younger brother Pawan Rajbhar told that Radheshyam has been mentally unstable for some time and he is undergoing treatment at a doctor in Gorakhpur. He has fought many times at home also. Even incidents of assault with family members have come to light.
CO Gorakhnath Ravi Kumar Singh said that investigation revealed that a case of assault and Excise Act was registered against Radheshyam due to which his passport application was cancelled. He was stressed about this issue for a long time. The case was not registered due to his mental condition not being good. Due to fear of breach of peace, legal action has been taken by challaning him.
