Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. TTE raped the girl on the pretext of getting her a seat in the Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Express. This incident happened on Sunday in the cabin of AC first class coach between Indara and Deoria.
When the victim raised alarm and informed on dial 112, the accused TTE got down from the train in Deoria and ran away. On reaching Gorakhpur, the victim filed a rape case in the GRP police station, which was transferred to Deoria. The GRP team is conducting raids in search of the accused.
According to the victim, a resident of Mau district, she is preparing to join the army by taking a room on rent in Gorakhpur. On Sunday, she boarded the train at Mau station. Was standing in AC coach due to lack of ticket.
TTE Rahul Kumar was found near Indara. After giving assurance of getting a seat, he was taken to AC first class coach. After making him sit in his cabin, he locked it from inside. It is alleged that TTE committed rape. After making noise and giving information about the incident by calling dial number 112, the accused ran away after getting down at Deoria railway station.

A case has been registered based on the complaint of the victim and medical examination is being conducted. SP Railway Lakshminivas Mishra said that raids are being conducted in search of the accused TTE, resident of Bihar. He will be arrested soon. Railway officials have also been informed about the matter.
