Sangh chief addressed the Kutumb Sneh Milan program of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has described the family system as the basis of social change and the family as the first school to make the next generation cultured and social. It is said that a family is not formed just by living under one roof and boundary walls, but its foundation is prepared by the feeling of belongingness.

The values that a child receives from his family soon after birth make him social. The Sangh chief was putting forth this idea on Monday during the Kutumb Sneh Milan program organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium.

He said that India is characterized by a family system based on affinity, whereas in the West, relationships are usually based on transactions or agreements. Here the family is considered bigger than the individual, whereas in foreign countries the individual is placed above the family. In Indian tradition, marriage is considered a 'duty', not a 'contract'.

Describing the family as the center of economic and cultural power, the Sangh chief said that the basic basis of production, savings, business and wealth of the nation is also the family. In this context, he gave the example of the country's second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Said that on his call people had even dedicated their gold and silver in the national interest. He said that the family is the center of transfer of social education, economic activities and culture from generation to generation. The center of the family is the mother, who builds the generation. It is through the mother that the son is introduced to Mother India. He said that in our country, except the wife, all women are seen from the point of view of mothers, whereas in foreign countries, there is a tradition of seeing all women from the point of view of wives.

He told the volunteers that if we want to bring change in the society, we will have to develop traditions of values, dialogue and group meetings in the families. Emphasizing on organizing small family reunions two to three times a year, he said that this increases harmony and clarity of thoughts. Discussing the incidents of religious conversion, the Sangh chief said that it is necessary to have values in homes to stop this.

Emphasizing on environmental protection, Mohan Bhagwat said that concern for it should start from home itself. Saving water, removing plastic and planting trees is possible only at the family level. He also stressed on adherence to Indianness in language, dress, food, buildings and hymns and called for maximum use of Swadeshi.

Apart from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's provincial union leader Dr. Mahendra Aggarwal and department union leader Sheshnath, workers from various cities of Gorakhpur metropolis, Chauri-Chaura and rural areas along with their families were present in the program. Department Proceedings Sanjay presented the guest introduction.

Also read- 'The Sangh does not aspire for power and influence, its aim is social organization', Mohan Bhagwat addressed the public seminar.

Language brings feelings. Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said that language brings feelings. It is important to speak your mother tongue at home, know the language of the province you live in and have a language at the national level which is useful for everyone. He said that we should know how to wear dhoti. Traditional food suits us. He insisted on eating home-cooked food. It was also said that what kind of picture should be in the house should also be considered. There must be pictures of our ideals in our homes. If the family had not supported the Sangh, it would not have existed. The Sangh chief linked the family system to the strength of the Sangh. Said that if the family had not supported us, the Sangh would not have been able to stand. Any society becomes bigger if it has the support of its family. If you want to know the Sangh then look at the branch of the Sangh, look at the volunteers of the Sangh, look at the family of the volunteers of the Sangh. Whatever we do, we put it into practice. It is very difficult to describe the union in words.

Chyawanprash is a part of every Indian's life, it reduces diseases and increases energy.
