Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. Recently, due to the breakdown of two trucks on Vikramshila Bridge and one truck on the approach road, there was a 100 km long traffic jam from Kursela in Katihar to Jagdishpur. Due to the jam, Intermediate and Teacher Eligibility candidates had to face a lot of difficulties in reaching the examination centre.
In such a situation, the traffic police team has made complete preparations so that the students appearing in the 10th class examination of Bihar and CBSE board, which is going to start from Tuesday, do not have to get stuck in the traffic jam.
Cranes have been deployed 24 hours on Vikramshila Bridge. More than 150 additional soldiers have been deployed in the city. A special police team will patrol Vikramshila Bridge from early morning. In case of any vehicle breaking down, it will be immediately removed with the help of a crane.
Along with this, movement of big vehicles will be stopped by starting two-way movement, especially for students. DSP Traffic said that 23 thousand 234 students will participate in one shift.
There is a possibility of more crowd on the first day. Preparations have been made on a large scale in this regard. However, more crowd was seen in the city on Monday than on other days. Thousands of students were seen in the city on Monday itself.
