'UP Is The Engine Of Development For Developed India', Amit Shah Enthuses From Rashtra Prerna Sthal

State Bureau, Lucknow. Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived to inaugurate UP Day at Rashtra Prerna Sthal decorated with yellow and saffron colored ensigns, flowers and flags, raised both hands from the audience and pledged to make Uttar Pradesh a developed state.

The Home Minister said that UP has become not only the soul and heartbeat of India but also an engine of development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make a developed India by the hundredth year of independence i.e. by 2047, in which UP is playing a big role under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath.

While inaugurating the 'One District-One Cuisine' scheme and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Employment Zone to be built on 100 acres in every district, the Home Minister said that now the youth will get employment in their own homes.

Shah, who came to deliver the address after visiting the exhibition, said that 'one district-one product' has become an example for other states.

Describing UP as the state with the highest number of airports and expressways, the Home Minister said that now BrahMos missiles have started being manufactured in the defense corridor here. In a brief address of 16 minutes, Amit Shah put on political gear and also appealed to give a huge majority to BJP in the 2027 assembly elections.

Earlier, five eminent astronauts Shubhanshu Shukla, Physics Wala Director Alakh Pandey, poet Dr. Hariom Panwar, educationist Rashmi Arya and agricultural scientist Dr. Sudhanshu Singh were honored with UP Gaurav Samman and five District Magistrates who performed well in loan distribution were honored.

Addressing the crowd sitting in the open premises amidst the bright sunlight, the Home Minister first wished the people of Uttar Pradesh living abroad on UP Day. Said that here is the land of Shri Ram, Krishna, Vishwanath, Mahavir and Buddha from where the pioneers of the era were born and have been giving direction to the society.

Claiming to change the picture of the state, he said that SP and BSP had made UP a sick state, but now the conditions have changed. UP's agricultural growth rate is more than 17 percent in three years. This state is contributing 20 percent to India's food grains.

The Home Minister said that UP has become a food basket. More than one crore elderly, women and disabled people got pension. Under CM Yuva Yojana, loans worth Rs 5322 crore have been given to 1.30 lakh youth for employment. Ram temple was built after 550 years long struggle.

Virat Kumbh was organized in Prayagraj. At Prerna Sthal, he paid tribute to the grand statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deen Dayal and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, calling them symbols of national consciousness. Praising the state government, he said, 'There was a huge mountain of garbage here, but being a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, I can proudly say that our government has transformed the garbage into Kanchan.'

Regarding the cuisine fair, he said that when in 2017 there was a discussion in Delhi about one district, one product in the BJP manifesto, the question arose whether this would be possible or not, but the double engine government did such a miracle that now other states are adopting this model. The state became a leader in products like electronics and semiconductors. Against investment proposals worth Rs 45 lakh crore, Rs 15 lakh crore landed on the ground.

Maximum number of airports were built in UP. CM Yogi has completely eliminated crime from the state. In the end, he gave an election flavor to his address and said that now voters should reject dynastic politics and embrace lotus. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and State President Pankaj Chaudhary also addressed.
