Jagran correspondent, Unnao. Neeraj Shukla, 35, resident of Mohalla Abinagar of Sadar area, went to sleep in his room after having dinner on Wednesday evening.
When the door of the room did not open for a long time on Thursday morning, the relative called out. When no response was received, when I went inside the room, I found Neeraj's dead body hanging.
Hearing the screams of the relatives, nearby people also gathered at the spot. Police reached the spot and investigated the incident and sent the body for post-mortem.
According to relatives, Neeraj was a drug addict. Often he would come home in the evening under the influence of alcohol. Kotwal Chandrakant Mishra told that Neeraj had committed suicide due to intoxication. Further action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report.
