Better train given to Katihar Railway Division.

Communication Assistant, Katihar/Barsoi. Katihar Railway Division and Seemanchal region have got Vande Bharat Sleeper and Amrit Bharat trains. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Howrah-Guwahati (Kamakhya) Vande Bharat Sleeper train from Malda. During this time, apart from MP Tariq Anwar, former Deputy Chief Minister, MLA Tarkishore Prasad, Mayor Usha Devi Aggarwal, ADRM Manoj Kumar Singh, a large number of public representatives, leaders, administrative officers, railway officials and common people were present at Katihar Railway Junction.

Railways gave gift of tickets to passengers

Free tickets were distributed to the passengers till Bengaluru by the Railway Administration and Railway Ministry. It was said to bring Aadhar card and get a free ticket. Praising the achievements of the Central Government, the MLA said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has made remarkable progress in the field of railways. In the double engine government, common people are continuously getting new facilities. In view of the huge demand for tickets for metropolitan cities like Bangalore and Mumbai, the government has given great relief to the general public by starting new trains. Stoppage of seven new weekly trains started has been ensured at Barsoi Junction.

Train is important for South India

These trains include four for South India (Kerala, Chennai, Bengaluru), one for Mumbai, one for Lucknow and one for Rohtak (Haryana). Of these, two trains will operate from NJP and Radhikapur (West Bengal) and the remaining trains will operate from Kamakhya, Guwahati and Assam. Dozens of JDU, LJP and Congress party workers and railway passengers were present in the ceremony. During this time there was a lot of enthusiasm among the people. Everyone was saying that there is a need for better trains on this route and expressed hope that with the efforts of local public representatives, the government and the railway administration will operate more trains on this route.
