Indore miscreants looted truck (symbolic picture)
Digital Desk, Jabalpur. Three armed criminals from Indore looted a truck loaded with gram worth Rs 16.5 lakh by throwing chilli in the eyes of the truck driver. The police became alert as soon as information about the incident took place late on Monday night. Late night, Shahpura police arrested one of the accused and seized the truck and the gram loaded in it. Two other accused are being searched.
Majhauli police said that Damoh resident Santosh Sen on Monday loaded 550 sacks of gram worth Rs 16.5 lakh in truck MP 20 HB 5647 from Gayatri Traders of Damoh and left for Katni with it. Around 1.30 in the night, three miscreants reached Majhauli in an unnumbered car and stopped the car in front of the truck.
As soon as the truck stopped, armed miscreants got down from the car and sprayed pepper spray on driver Santosh. Asked about GPS. When Santosh said that he did not have information, he was beaten up. Made him sit in the truck. Tied the hand with tape. When Santosh became unconscious, they threw him on the road and fled with the truck.

Santosh somehow informed the police about the incident. After which the police imposed a blockade across the district. Meanwhile, Shahpura police stopped the truck and caught the driver, Sagar Goyal, resident of Indore. His two companions Mahendra and Sumit, residents of Indore, ran away in the car. During police interrogation, Sagar told that they target such trucks on the National Highway in which there is only a truck driver. They used to loot trucks and goods by spraying spray on them. Their information has also been sought from Indore Police.
