Raju lives in Bandra only.
He said, "I know Salman Khan long before Baaghi. We are from the same locality. We are both from Bandra. When he was shooting Paththar Ke Phool, we used to cycle together. Before shooting, he used to practice skating on the bandstand. I used to cycle and he used to practice skating holding the carrier."
Describing Salman as 'happy-go-lucky', Raju said, "He is funny, never thinks before saying anything, and doesn't think too much before making friends. He has a clean heart. He is not cunning or manipulative. He is a very easy-going person and that is why he often gets into controversies."
Salman thinks from the heart
Raju admitted that Salman has misbehaved with women in his life, but also defended him, saying that he thinks from the heart. Raju said, "Salman never controlled his emotions. Sometimes he used to abuse while standing under someone's building. He shouted while standing under his ex-girlfriend's building and beat someone, so he could not control his emotions. He is a very noble person. He works from the heart, not from the mind."
However, Raju did not clarify which incident he was referring to. According to some reports, Salman Khan had created a ruckus outside his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai's house soon after their breakup in 2002.
