Due to gas leaking from the cylinder, people started having difficulty in breathing. As the problem increased, five people were admitted to the hospital. The incident occurred late night on Thursday, February 26.

People's health deteriorated due to gas leak

Police said that a scrap dealer in Indore, Madhya Pradesh was opening the cylinder when an unknown gas leaked from it, after which five people were admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing.

Speaking to news agency PTI, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Dishesh Aggarwal said, 'Late on Thursday night, the dealer tried to cut the cylinder in Raoji Bazar police station area, after which people nearby complained of difficulty in breathing.'

Dishesh Aggarwal further said, 'The five affected people have been admitted to different hospitals. The gas leak has been controlled and now the situation is under control. It is not yet known what kind of gas was in the cylinder.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Madhav Hasani says that the condition of all five people is stable.
